Hexamoll^® DINCH is a primary plasticizer, which means that it is compatible with PVC over a broad concentration range.

Furthermore, it is suitable as so-called "general-purpose plasticizer", which means that it can be used in many different applications.

Hexamoll^® DINCH is a clear colorless liquid with a hardly noticeable odor, which shows very little discoloration during processing.

Hexamoll^® DINCH offers a well-balanced set of properties:

Low viscosity

This property makes Hexamoll^® DINCH suitable for spreadcoating of plastisols (e.g. textile coatings, wallcovering, heterogeneous flooring) as well as rotomolding, i.e. manufacturing of hollow parts.

Low density

Thanks to this feature, less plasticizer is needed to achieve the same volume of end-product.

Excellent cold flexibility

This characteristic makes Hexamoll^® DINCH especially suitable for outdoor and food contact applications as cold temperatures may play an important role.

Low volatility

Because of this property, the plasticizer content in the end-product remains stable, which in turn increases its lifespan.

Good compatibility with PVC

This feature helps Hexamoll^® DINCH to remain in the PVC and unfold its plasticizing effect.

Low migration & high extraction resistance

Hexamoll^® DINCH shows an extremely low extraction rate in contact with aqueous liquids and also a very low migration rate in contact with rigid PVC and engineering plastics.

UV resistance

Hexamoll^® DINCH is very stable under UV radiation, which makes it suitable for outdoor applications. Thanks to this feature, the end-product keeps its mechanical properties such as flexibility and color.

Excellent compatibility under mechanical pressure

Even if the end-product is exposed to mechanical pressure, the plasticizer Hexamoll^® DINCH remains in the product.

Based on its properties, Hexamoll^® DINCH is a versatile plasticizer for different technologies.

It is successfully used in all PVC-processes such as

- Extrusion

- Calendering

- Injection molding

- Spread coating
